Calendar-Free Task Management

You may have noticed ChocloTask doesn't sync with iCal. On the one hand, it allows us to have an (arguably) more sophisticated system to manage tasks - we have subtasks! On the other hand, it means there's little connection to the concept of a calendar (though you can set reminders on a per-task basis). You've been warned.

Alternatives to ChocloTask:

There are a lot of task management applications that already exist for the Mac, and a lot of them seem to be pretty darn good. Not everybody works the same way however, and ChocloTask aims to scratch an itch that none of the other applications quite reach - at least for us. If it turns out that ChocloTask isn't for you, you may want to consider one of the following: Anxiety (Free), Check Off (Free), Dejumble ($19), TaskPaper ($18.95), Things ($39) or Today ($15).
